1. connect your iphone to pc (not mac) 2. backup with itunes 3. put your iphone in restore mode 4. now itunes will show you the device found for restore 5. Press Shift + restore button 6. choose the firmware for iphone 3gs 4.1 7. But here you do it very carefully. first iphone will start extracting software and "restoring iphone software" "varifying iphone software" ""varifying iphone restore" once you see "restoring iphone firmware" start counting 33 sec for iphone 3gs 16gb and 40 sec for iphone 32gb then remove the cable from iphone after that quickly press HOME + POWER BUTTON until you see the apple logo you have done, Connect your phone again with PC but phone will be in recovery mode 1. after that you use" tinyumbrella" for kicking out of recovery mode 2. then wait for restarting the phone 3. now use "Limerain" for jailbreak (when you are using limerain just keep your itunes opened otherwise you will find hard time to jailbreak) 4. unlock with "unltrasn0w" thats it.
